Two world premieres at Intermot
What an impact at Intermot 2022 in Cologne: HOREX presented two world premieres, including the spectacular HOREX Regina Evo, which immediately captivated numerous visitors as a high-tech renaissance of the legendary Regina from the 1950s. At the top end of exclusivity and technical feasibility is also the HOREX VR6 RAW, which was also presented in Cologne.
Shortly before 12 noon on the opening day, CEO Karsten Jerschke presented the new models to the trade audience, immediately two absolute eye-catchers of the fair. The HOREX Regina Evo is, already recognisable at first glance, completely in the tradition of the legendary “Regina” from the 1950s. Design, look and proportions are a clear reminiscence of the best-known HOREX in the company’s almost 100-year history.
Technically, however, the HOREX Regina Evo is not only at the cutting edge, but also sets completely new standards. Developed and manufactured entirely at the site of the company’s parent 3C-Carbon in Landsberg am Lech, the new HOREX not only features extremely high component quality throughout, but also exciting innovations. The most spectacular is certainly the frame, which consists of a carbon monocoque that is unique in motorbike construction. HOREX is also first-to-market in the 3D-printed seat made of mesh fabric. Further highlights: Adaptive LED headlight, high-performance dual-disc front brake, aluminium spoke rims.
The HOREX Regina Evo is powered by a 48PS (35kw) single-cylinder with 600 cm3 displacement. Also due to the use of carbon in all structural elements, the brand new model shines with a dry weight of 133 kilos, which is not only record-breaking in this segment.
With the HOREX VR6 RAW 99, the ultimate evolution of the VR6 power cruiser also has its world premiere at the Intermot. Numerous functional components that already made the previous RAW highly desirable have been further developed on this model, which is limited to 99 units. Thanks to the extensive use of ultra-light materials, the RAW 99 is also the lightest HOREX VR6 ever produced, weighing 215 kilograms dry. The top model can already be pre-ordered at the Intermot in Cologne.
