MOTORRAD: RECENT TEST EXPERIENCES WITH THE NEW HOREX VR6
The fact that the HOREX VR6 is “really good” has now been officially confirmed to HOREX by an expert party: following a thorough test drive with the fascinating six-cylinder bike, the leading trade magazine MOTORRAD reached a very positive conclusion in its current edition.
In his summary, MOTORRAD editor-in-chief Michael Pfeiffer reports that he rode a “superlative naked bike” on a “ride offering a special kind of experience” through the foothills of the Alps to the south of the factory in Landsberg am Lech in the German state of Bavaria. The riding report makes reference to the lavishly revised engine, the completely new engine control unit from industry giant BOSCH and the exclusive LED instrument panel from Continental Engineering Services. Above all, however, the renowned specialist is particularly impressed with the “unique sound” (“orchestral”) and the handling of the high-end bike. According to MOTORRAD, “the machine’s playful handling provides an immediate surprise”, while the high-quality spring elements mean the HOREX “steers as if by itself. It seeks out its path precisely, purposefully and nimbly.” A great deal of praise is also lavished on the high-quality finishing (“brilliant”), particularly of the numerous carbon parts (“sensationally good”), the engine and chassis tuning as well as the brakes. The drive is said to provide “power in all situations” (“monumental”). Overall: “Anyone who grumbles has no idea.” The money spent on a HOREX VR6, according to MOTORRAD, is in any case “well invested”.
